Pioneer eMobility's Director of Sales, Scott Bradley, talks to David Renschler, Fleet Division Manager, City of Fairfield, CA during ACT Expo 2024 about their e-Boost Mobile unit. The system, installed with a 220kW fast charger, will service three 35 foot Gillig Battery Electric buses while they wait for permanent grid connected infrastructure, expected in Dec 2025. After that time, they will use their e-Boost Mobile during PG&E's Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events and other power outages. By their estimate, they can run almost a week on 600 gallons of propane. The unit also includes 4.2MWh of on-board storage.
